The stunning “white villages” of Andalusia have inspired artists for centuries. Gaucín, located on the balcony of the Serranía de Ronda, is full of history and charm, making it one of the most desirable destinations in the region.

Overlooking the spectacular valley of the river Genal and Africa, Gaucín is a picturesque little village in Malaga. Hidden amongst the whitewashed, flower-filled streets you will find the studios of more than twenty artists of all disciplines.

Art Gaucín has grown over the last two decades and now represents more than 20 Spanish and foreign artists including painters, sculptors, engravers and photographers.

Every year, during two weekends in May, the artists open the doors of their studios to welcome visitors and show their latest work. You can also contact them directly and make an appointment to visit the studios you are interested in.
